MANCHESTER MAN CHARGED WITH MURDER
Thirty-year-old Shane Reid, a taxi operator of Job Lane, Christiana, Manchester, has been charged with the Murder of 34-year-old Richard Blake, a farmer of Grove Town district in the parish, following an incident in Sedburgh, Christiana, on Friday, August 15.
Reports indicate that at about 9:00 p.m., an argument developed between both men, during which knives were drawn and a fight ensued. After citizens intervened and the fight ended, Blake was seen with multiple stab wounds to the upper body. The police were summoned, and he was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Reid was arrested and subsequently charged after a question and answer.
His court date is being finalised.
