
CLARENDON MAN FACING MULTIPLE FIREARM RELATED CHARGES
Thirty-four-year-old Dwayne Fyne, a farmer of Mason River district, Clarendon, has been charged with Assault at Common Law, Unlawful Wounding, Being In Possession Of a Prohibited Weapon, and Using A Prohibited Weapon To Commit A Felony following an incident in his community on Saturday, October 10.
Reports from the May Pen Police are that at about 4:00 a.m., Fyne and another man were at a bar when an argument developed between the two. Fyne reportedly used a firearm to hit the man on the head, causing a wound that bled. Fyne then pointed the firearm at the man, threatening him. Residents intervened, and the injured man was assisted to the hospital, where he was treated and released.
The matter was reported to the police, and Fyne was later arrested and subsequently charged with the mentioned offences.
His court date is being arranged.
