A major Police operation that was conducted in St. Elizabeth and St. James has resulted in the arrested of four suspected gang members, over the last 48 hours.
The operation—which targeted the G-City 6 Gang—was conducted by members of the Specialized Operations, the Lottery Scamming Taskforce, and the Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime Investigation Branch (C-TOC).
One Smith and Wesson Revolver and an assortment of ammunition have been seized.
Three members of the G-City 6 Gang were arrested in Salt Spring, St. James after identity information was found in their possession.
Investigations also led to the arrest of the fourth man in St. Elizabeth.
All four persons are being questioned with a view of proffering charges.
