The Kingston West Police have charged one man with murder following the death of 51-year-old Everton Robinson of Oxford Street in Kingston on Tuesday, March 16.

Charged is 27-year-old Matthew Lyseight, chef of Rose Lane in Kingston.

Reports are that about 4:45 p.m., Robinson was standing at his stall when he was attacked by Lyseight who opened gunfire hitting him.  On the arrival of the police, Robinson was seen lying in a pool of blood with several gunshot wounds.  The police took Robinson to the hospital where death was confirmed. 

Lyseight was arrested later that day and subsequently charged following an interview. 

His court date will be finalised.
