Lawmen assigned to the St. Catherine South Police division arrested and charged a man following the killing of his girlfriend – 24-year-old Keneisha Brown, of Hibiscus Drive, Marlie Mount, Old Harbour, St. Catherine on Saturday, July 20, 2019.
Charged with Murder is 34-year-old Toni Martin, of Old Harbour Villa, Old Harbour, St. Catherine.
Reports are that about 12:45 a.m., Brown and Martin were at home where an argument developed between them. Brown allegedly used stones to damage Martin’s motorcar which resulted in a fight, and the accused man pulled his licensed firearm and fired a single shot hitting Brown in her forehead. She was taken to hospital where she was confirmed dead.
On Wednesday, December 15, Martin was taken into custody where he was charged.
His court date has not yet been finalised.
