AMMUNITION SEIZED IN KINGSTON WEST
The Kingston Western Police seized nineteen 7.62 cartridges during a targeted operation in the market along Darling Street, Kingston, on Friday, June 26.
Reports from Denham Town Police are that at about 7:15 p.m., a team of lawmen were in the area conducting searches when they discovered the ammunition wrapped in a pair of blue socks, hidden between a sheet of zinc.
No one was arrested in relation to the seizure.
Investigations are ongoing.
