The St. Andrew Central Police seized one Glock 26 pistol fitted with a magazine containing thirteen 9mm rounds of ammunition in Hope Flats, Papine, Kingston 7 on Monday, January 01. Four men taken into custody.
Reports from the Half Way Tree Police are that about 12:35 a.m., lawmen were on operation in the area when a group of men were seen along the road. Upon approach of the police, one of the men threw the firearm. It was retrieved and all four men taken into custody pending further investigations.
