A 9mm Smith and Wesson Glock pistol with a magazine containing five 9mm rounds of ammunition was seized during an operation in the Montego Bay Transport Centre in St. James, on Wednesday, January 31. Two men are in custody.
Reports from the Barnett Street Police are that about 12:20 a.m., a police team was on patrol in the area when they observed two men acting in a manner that aroused their suspicion. They were accosted and searched, and the firearm was recovered in a black and blue bag that was in the possession of one of the two men.
They were taken into custody; however, their identities are being withheld pending further investigations.
