Firearm and Ammunition Seizure in Bull Bay, St. Andrew

Lawmen attached to the Kingston Eastern Operational Support Team (OST) seized a firearm and several rounds of ammunition on the 7 Miles main road in St. Andrew on Thursday, October 3.

Reports from the Bull Bay Police are that about 1:20 a.m., a police team on patrol observed a man acting in a manner that aroused their suspicion. The team approached the man and subsequently searched him. The lawmen found one Smith and Wesson 9mm pistol and six 9mm rounds of ammunition in the man’s possession and as result, they arrested him.

The man’s identity is being withheld pending further investigation.
