February 24, 2022– A team of officers assigned to the Kingston Central Police Division seized one Springfield Smith and Wesson Pistol with a magazine containing five 9mm rounds on Arnold Avenue in Allman Town, Kingston on Wednesday, February 23. One man was arrested.
Charged with Illegal Possession of Firearm and Ammunition is 32-year-old Daniel Barnes, barber of Arnold Avenue, Kingston 4.
Reports from the Central Police are that about 10:00 a.m., lawmen were in the area when they saw Barnes with a bulge in his waistband. He was accosted, searched and the firearm found. He was arrested and subsequently charged.
