Twenty-nine-year-old Romario Powell otherwise called ‘Mario’ and ‘Maro’, Farmer and Taxi Operator of Site, Lottery, St. James has been arrested and charged with Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Assault at Common Law following an incident on Saturday, Janaury 27.
Reports from the Amity Hall Police are that about 7:25 p.m., Powell pointed a firearm at a man whilst at a shop. The man ran, escaping injury and made a report to the police.
Powell was subsequently arrested and charged. His court date is being arranged.
