Police Name 11 Persons of Interest Following Triple Murder and Arson in St Andrew South

POLICE NAME 11 PERSONS OF INTEREST FOLLOWING TRIPLE MURDER AND ARSON IN ST ANDREW SOUTH

The St Andrew South Police have named eleven persons of interest as investigations intensify into a triple murder and arson in Kidd Lane, Kingston 13, on Friday, October 9, 2026.

The incident, which claimed the lives of two women and a one-year-old boy, occurred at approximately 11:45 p.m. at premises on Kidd Lane.

The police say the persons of interest are being sought in connection with their investigations into the incident and ongoing gang-related violence in the Kidd Lane and Bowens Road communities.

The persons of interest are:

  1. Dantae Davis, otherwise called “Donte”, of 14 Kidd Lane.
  2. Jamar Gayle, otherwise called “Day Day”, of 1 Kidd Lane and 82½ Spanish Town Road.
  3. Omarion Lemard, otherwise called “TJ”, of Kidd Lane/Bowens Road.
  4. Roshane Paisley, otherwise called “Gurr”.
  5. Deandre Cross, otherwise called “Mildo”, of 2B Kidd Lane.
  6. Lance Brown, otherwise called “Stone Face”.
  7. Tevin Steele, otherwise called “Manager”.
  8. Andre McBean, otherwise called “Pinchers”.
  9. Jermaine McDonald, otherwise called “Pelpa”.
  10. Stephen Hutchins.
  11. Javanie Guthrie, of a Wellington Road address.

All eleven persons are being urged to report immediately to the Hunts Bay Police Station to assist investigators.

Meanwhile, the police have identified one of the deceased as 39-year-old Kimesha Gibson, otherwise called “Munchie”, of Kidd Lane, Kingston 13.

The other victims are believed to be 30-year-old Lashea Ellis and her one-year-old son, Khael Dailey. Their identities have not yet been officially confirmed.

Reports are that residents heard explosions in the community and subsequently alerted the police after discovering that a house was on fire.

When the police arrived, they observed that a section of the premises was engulfed in flames. A search of the property led to the discovery of Gibson’s body at the rear of the premises with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds.

Firefighters from the Trench Town Fire Station responded and extinguished the blaze. During a subsequent search of the burnt structure, the charred remains of a woman and an infant were discovered.

The remains are believed to be those of Ellis and her son.

Senior officers from the St Andrew South Police Division visited the scene, and investigators from the Homicide Investigation Division have commenced investigations.

The police are appealing to residents of Kidd Lane, Bowens Road and surrounding communities to assist investigators with any information that could lead to the identification and apprehension of those responsible.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact the Hunts Bay Police Station, the police emergency number at 119, or the nearest police station.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force is assuring residents that all available investigative resources will be utilised to establish the circumstances surrounding the killings and bring those responsible to justice.
