Detectives have charged a St. Catherine man following the December 24, 2018, killing of Jermaine Graham otherwise called ‘Dada’ and ‘Fada’, of Windsor Road, Spanish Town, St. Catherine in his community.
Charged with Murder, Illegal Possession of Firearm and Illegal Possession of Ammunition is 36-year-old Lorenzo Harvey otherwise called ‘Lasha’, a tiler of Windsor Avenue.
Reports from the Spanish Town Police are that about 2:00 a.m., Harvey, Graham and another man were in a vegetated area of the community, when Harvey pulled a firearm and opened gunfire hitting Graham. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Following an investigation, Harvey was taken into custody and the charges laid against him on Monday, January 29 after a question-and-answer session in the presence of his attorney.
His court date is being finalised.
