April 21, 2021-A St. Catherine man was charged with the murder of 38-year-old Miguel Richards, a farmer of Mount Pleasant district in St. Catherine on Thursday, May 14, 2020.
Charged is 25-year-old Sandore Martin, a construction worker of Macka Tree district in St. Catherine.
Reports are that about 7:30 p.m., Martin and Richards had an altercation at a shop. Martin left the shop and returned armed with a gun and opened fire hitting Richards. The police were summoned and Richards was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead
On Monday, April 12, 2021 Martin was arrested during an operation and was subsequently charged following an interview.
Investigation continues.
