TWO ST.CATHERINE MEN FACE MULTIPLE CHARGES

Twenty-seven-year-old Leonardo Swaby, otherwise called ‘Angel,’ of Tawes Meadows, Spanish Town, and 27-year-old Nathan Williams of St. Johns Road, Spanish Town, both of St. Catherine, have been charged with the death of a man in the parish between July 11 and Thursday, July 24, 2025.

The men have been charged with:

  • Murder
  • Engaging in a Transaction that involves Criminal Property
  • Conspiracy to Murder
  • Aiding and Abetting Murder
  • Robbery with Aggravation
  • Conspiracy to Robbery with Aggravation
  • Aiding and Abetting Robbery with Aggravation
  • Simple Larceny (10 counts)
  • Conspiracy to Simple Larceny
  • Unlawful Burial of Corpse
  • Unauthorized Access to Computer Data &
  • Conspiracy to unauthorized Access to Computer Data

Dead is 43-year-old Humphrey Brown of Piccadilly Drive, Willowdene, St. Catherine.

Reports from the lawmen are that at about 11:02 p.m., Brown was last seen leaving his home on Friday, July 11, after receiving a telephone call and heading to Church Pen, Old Harbour. When he failed to return or make contact for several days, a missing person report was filed, prompting a police investigation.

During the investigation, the police discovered that Brown’s ATM card had been used at an ATM in the parish. CCTV footage revealed two men, who were later identified as Swaby and Williams, conducting transactions with Brown’s card.

Swaby and Williams were subsequently apprehended and taken into custody. During an interview, they confessed to their involvement in the crime and led the police to where Brown’s body was buried.

Swaby and Williams were subsequently charged.

Their court date is being finalised.
