As the Force’s relentless pursuit of guns, gangs and gunmen continues, the Westmoreland Police have arrested another wanted man—20-year-old Rojay Webb.
Webb, who is otherwise called ‘City Man’, of Gordon district in Whitehouse, Westmoreland was busted on the Alma main road in Grange Hill in the parish on Tuesday, February 22. He was wanted for Assault at Common Law and Illegal Possession of Firearm and Ammunition.
Reports are that about 5:30 p.m., a police team consisting of members of the Specialized Operations Branch and the Westmoreland Tactical Response Team were on operation in the community when they intercepted a Toyota Voxy motor car.
The police then searched the vehicle and its six occupants—all men. The police identified one of the men as Webb and all six were subsequently arrested and the motor vehicle seized.
The identities of the other five men are being withheld pending further investigation.
