Twenty-eight-year-old Krishna Barrett, Chef of Holland Village, St. Elizabeth has been arrested and charged with Possession of Part of a Prohibited Weapon following an incident at a bar in Lacovia in the parish on Thursday, February 01.
Reports from the Black River Police are that about 4:30 p.m., officers conducted operations at the premises. Barrett was accosted and searched; three (3) 9mm magazines were found in a knapsack bag that he was carrying.
Barrett was arrested and later charged for the offence. His court date is being finalised.
