The Frankfield Police have arrested and charged 29-year-old Anthony Griffiths, a construction worker of Mike Town, Clarendon following an incident at Lodge Green District, Frankfield, Clarendon on Sunday, January 21.
He has been charged with Rape (Two Counts), Malicious Destruction of Property and Assault Occasioning Bodily Harm.
Reports are that about 8:00 p.m., Griffiths used a rock to break a window to the woman’s house, entered and began to hit her all over her body. Griffiths then sexually assaulted her.
The matter was reported to the police and on Thursday, January 25, Griffiths was arrested and subsequently charged. A court date is being finalised.
