A team of officers assigned to the St. James Police Division seized one homemade firearm during an operation in Retirement, Granville, St. James on Friday, July 23.
Reports from the Granville Police are that about 7:00 a.m., lawmen were in the area when an open lot was searched and the illegal firearm was seen wrapped in a piece of cloth, hidden under a stone.
No one has been arrested in relation to this seizure.
Investigation continues.
