KINGSTON CENTRAL POLICE CHARGE MAN FOLLOWING DISPUTE
October 11, 2020 – The Kingston Central Police has arrested and charged a man with Illegal Possession of Firearm, Illegal Possession of Ammunition and Assault at Common law following an incident on Tuesday, September 29 at the intersection of Lockette Avenue and Conrad Lane in Kingston 4.
He is 37-year-old Oderi Palmer, otherwise called ‘Dari’, Surveillance Officer of East Street, Kingston 4.
Reports are that about 7:30 p.m., the complainant was involved in a dispute with Palmer’s sister. Palmer intervened and a dispute ensued between him and the complainant. Palmer then pulled a firearm from his waistband and used it to strike the complainant. The matter was reported to the Police and Palmer was arrested and formally charged.
His court date is being finalised.
