KINGSTON MAN CHARGED WITH ARSON
A 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged with Arson after allegedly setting fire to his home and that of his relatives on Ashley Road, Kingston 13, on Saturday, October 24.
Charged is Trevaughn Robinson, otherwise called ‘Toby’ or ‘Trey,’ of Ashley Road, Kingston 13.
Reports from the Hunts Bay Police indicated that at about 2:00 p.m., Robinson was at home with his relatives when an argument developed over the loss of $5,000. Following the argument, it is alleged that Robinson reportedly went inside the house and set it ablaze. No one was injured.
Robinson was reportedly apprehended by residents and handed over to the police.
He was subsequently taken into custody and charged after participating in a question-and-answer session.
His court date is being finalised.
