Relatives Facing Multiple Charges

RELATIVES FACING MULTIPLE CHARGES

Forty-year-old Moneague Campbell, and Orane Campbell, both of Salt-Cut Boscobel, St Mary, are facing charges of Simple Larceny, Possession of Criminal Property and Engaging Criminal Property following an incident between Friday, March 13 and Monday, March 16, 2026.

Reports from the St. Ann’s Bay Police indicate that Moneague allegedly received a sum exceeding JMD$3 million in error. It is further reported that, upon receiving the funds, she transferred portions of the money to several individuals, including her relative, Orane. Following a conversation with the bank, she reportedly became unreachable, and her whereabouts were unknown. A report was subsequently made to the police, and Moneague was featured in the Jamaica Constabulary Force’s (JCF) Wanted Wednesday campaign.

Following investigations, Orane was apprehended during a targeted operation and Moneague subsequently turned herself in on Tuesday, October 27. Both relatives were charged with the mentioned offences after an interview with investigators.

A court date is being finalised.
