Kingston Woman Charged with Attempting to Pervert the Course of Justice

KINGSTON WOMAN CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTING TO PERVERT THE COURSE OF JUSTICE

Forty-four-year-old Cammeka Bough of Rock Valley District, Kingston 4, has been charged with Attempting to Pervert the Course of Justice following an incident at her home on Sunday, September 6.

Reports are that a police team, armed with a search warrant, went to the premises in search of a man, who was wanted in connection with Obtaining Money by False Pretence and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon. Upon arrival, the police team encountered Bough, who allegedly told them that, the suspect had left the premises to conduct work in another parish. However, during a subsequent search of the house, he was reportedly found hiding underneath a bed in the bedroom. He was arrested and taken into custody.

Bough was subsequently charged and is scheduled to appear before the Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Court on Monday, November 2.
