Detectives investigating the December 2023 death of 30-year-old hotel worker Anthony Henry, otherwise called ‘ Tweety Bird’ in his Fronteir Heights, St. Mary community, have charged three men with Murder.

Charged are 24-year-old chef Nathan Palmer and 46-year-old Samora Palmer, otherwise called ‘Rocky’, a fisherman and construction worker both of Fronteir Heights. Their co-accused is 24-year-old Kieran Palmer, otherwise called ‘Tyler’ of Albian in Montego Bay, St. James.

Reports from the Port Maria police are that on Saturday, December 23, the deceased man visited Nathan Palmer’s place of employment, where an altercation developed. During the quarrel, a machete was used to slap Henry, who then left the area. About 7:00 p.m., Henry, armed with a machete, hid and awaited Nathan Palmer in a section of the community. Henry attacked Palmer with the said weapon; however, Palmer took evasive action and managed to overpower him.

The other accused men, Kieran and Samora Palmer, who were also in the area at the time of the incident, joined in, all of whom beat and inflicted a wound to the deceased abdomen. He was assisted to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.
