Teens Among Five Charged with Breaches of the Firearms Act

TEENS AMONG FIVE CHARGED WITH BREACHES OF THE FIREARMS ACT

Detectives assigned to the National Strategic Anti-Gang Division (NSAD) arrested and charged five males, including two teenagers, with Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Unauthorised Possession of Ammunition following an incident on Constitution Hill, in St. Andrew, on Thursday, August 13.

The accused are:

  1. Twenty-two-year-old Dayshawn Graham, a farmer of Constitution Hill, Chasworth, Dallas, St. Andrew.
  2. Eighteen-year-old Aldomar Anglin, of Constitution Hill, Chasworth, Dallas, St. Andrew.
  3. A 17-year-old male of Havanah Drive, Kingston 11.
  4. A 17-year-old male of Halls Delight, Dallas, in St. Andrew.
  5. Twenty-one-year-old Krisodean Hall, a mechanic of Halls Delight, Dallas, St. Andrew.

Reports are that at about 1:15 p.m., the police team was pursuing investigative leads which led them to the location, where a group of five males suspected of being armed was seen along the roadway. They were accosted, and during a search, one Smith & Wesson revolver loaded with three rounds of ammunition was found on the ground in front of all five accused. They were subsequently arrested and charged.

Their court date is being finalised.
