An operation conducted on Duckett’s Road, Savanna-la-mar in Westmoreland, led to the seizure of a firearm on Sunday, June 23.
The Savanna-la-Mar Police say that about 7:00 a.m., a team was responding to information received about armed men who had robbed a motorcycle within the area. The men were apprehended, the stolen motorcycle was recovered and a Smith and Wesson 9mm pistol seized.
Three men were held in the incident; however, their identities are being withheld pending further investigations.
